Welcome, and thank you for visiting our website. First things first: Yes, we are really both named Kelly, and yes its spelled the same. We get asked that a lot. We live in Perrysburg, Ohio. My husband is originally from Cambridge, Ohio and I grew up in Centerville, Ohio.
My husband and I have been interested in photography for many years, however, in the last several years I have become thoroughly obsessed with it. We both work full time jobs but I spend much of my free time with camera in hand. I love the challenge of trying to capture a beautiful scene in a way that does it justice, or to photograph something ordinary in a way that makes it interesting, or even beautiful.
I have been honored to have my work featured in Ohio Magazine for a variety of articles on Perrysburg Ohio. I have won awards from the Wood County Parks District and the Photo Arts Club of Toledo. The American Kennel Club has recognized our work in their annual photo contests. My work has been featured in the Wood County Park guides and can be seen in their gallery in Bowling Green, Ohio. In 2017 several of my photos were selected along with 20 other local artists' work, for a display on large screens above the stage during a performance by the Toledo Symphony Orchestra that was in celebration of our National Parks System. Our latest achievement: The Ohio State Parks and Ohio Department of Natural Resources selected our photo of Marble Head as the Overall Winner for the 2017 Photography Contest out of over 1700 entries.
As a former event and dressage rider, I have found that I truly love to photograph horses and riders, always striving to capture the special bond between the two. I am honored to be providing photography services for Jennifer Roth's talented team of dressage riders at Milestone Farms, LLC. located near Columbus, Ohio.
We hope you will enjoy viewing our photos as much as we have enjoyed creating them. Kelly and Kelly Chalfant
